Two lawyers and a social worker arrive at a Hamptons time-share to discover a corpse on the couch and nearby effects suggesting suicide.
Yet when the power goes out, a fallen tree barricades the driveway, and not one but two men arrive to claim identity as the betrothed of the deceased.
The situation not only goes south but proceeds right off the compass.

Cast
Josh Hyman
Josh has been a working actor and standup comedian living in New York City for the past eight years. He just completed playing Gabe in [pwnd], as part of the Rising Sun Performance Company’s Evening of One Acts, a production of which he was most proud. He is a member of the critically acclaimed Improv troupe Sporknotes, which debuted at 2008’s FrigidFest and continues to run monthly, and has recently completed working on the independent films Arnold Special Hero and The Film You Did Not See. He has appeared on The Discovery Channel’s Cash Cab, AMC’s Date Night, and in an ESPN Sports Center commercial. You can also catch him performing standup comedy at clubs and colleges around the Tri-State area. Josh is excited and honored to work with End Times Productions for the first time, and would like to say Lobado to his friends, family and NYC bus drivers for all their support.
Anthony Mead
Anthony, a recent addition to the End Times Company Roster, is happy, hell ecstatic, to be a part of this here show. He acts and has acted in other plays and stages here in New York City. Anthony enjoys green grass, high tides, long walks on short piers (swimming), cock-fights and referring to himself in the third person.
Kerstin Porter
Kerstin spent this last year getting comfortable living in New York. She has worked with End Times Productions during that time and loves the projects they have handed her and cannot wait to see what they will give her next.
Serena Miller
Serena Ebony Miller, aka “The Walking Thesaurus”, is another recent transplant to New York from Philadelphia, where she attended the University of the Arts (BFA, Theater Arts). Those who have helped her move would say that she has “too many books” and continue to wonder why she chose one of the biggest instruments a person could play. As a musician, Serena has been seen in plaid during rock performances, not seen at all in countless pit orchestras, and recognized only by her hair in others. Her love for the stage brought her to work with several companies in Philadelphia after graduation. She sends love and thanks to her family for their patience and support, to her boss for not firing her, her co-workers, the cast and crew, and apartments 4 and 5. Special thanks to the state of Pennsylvania and its noble peaks.
Leal Vona
Leal is a fan of comedy in all its forms, except for black or blue comedy, character comedy, improvisational or observational comedy, alternative comedy, physical or prop comedy, surreal, deadpan, or topical comedy (including satire); wit and word play; insult comedy, sketch comedy, the “mockumentary”, clowning, comic opera or plays, stand-up comedy, jokes, commedia dell’arte and comic books or strips. He is also a licensed locksmith, and is allowed to carry lock picks. What you know about that?
Matthew Watkins
Matthew Watkins is a Delaware native, and proud to be from the 1st state. Matthew received his BFA acting, from University of The Arts in Philadelphia. Moved to NYC right away and started working. Credits include HBO on Demand National commercial, MTV pilot The OZ, Domino’s national, MTV pilot Yo Larynx, Chip and Pepper jeans commercial. Matthew also performs stand up comedy and keeps himself busy when not in a show with making short films with friends. To say, Matthew is a proud uncle, would be an understatement… Love you girls!! Matthew is excited to be a part of EndTimes and working with friends.
Crew
George Larkin (Playwright)
Writer of plays done at such places at the Lark, Playwrights Horizons, EST, Edge Fest, Theatricum Botanicum, the Met Theatre, Sacred Fools, UCSD, the Unknown Theatre, Hudson, UCSD, and Yale. Head of development and post production supervisor on “Spanking the Monkey,” “Flirting with Disaster,” Manny & Lo,” and “Wigstock: the Movie.” Yale grad with ever useful Masters of Shakespearean Studies from the Shakespeare Institute and currently pursuing a PhD in Film Studies at the University of California-Berkeley. Thanks to Matt and Russ and all of EndTmes! www.asalark.com.
Matthew Kreiner (Director)
Matthew Kreiner is 5′9″, 130 pounds, with an awkward smile, and a decent sense of style. He hopes you enjoy the show and if you do, he accepts hugs. Remember, if more people hugged each other, then we would have less wars. Not because hugging makes people happier, but because people would be too busy hugging each other to go into battle. Remember that.
Jeremy Pape (Producer – Lighting Designer – Technical Director)
Jeremy is a New York transplant, having spent much time in various correctional facilities across this great land of the free. Recent credits include directing and design with EndTimes as well as lighting and sound design for Wolf Lane Productions’ “Victims of the Zeitgeist.” Most recently he directed William Whitehurst’s “knuckleball”, winner for Best Drama and Best Production at the San Francisco fringe festival.
Ilana Landecker (Assistant Director – Assistant Stage Manager)
Ilana would like to thank you for coming to “Dead Lawyers”. She hopes you enjoy yourself. Really, no matter how bad or ridiculous things are in the world, it could always be worse – you could be a lawyer. And that’s the message Ilana would like everyone to carry with them always. Unless you’re a lawyer. Many thanks to Matt, Mariel, and the very good looking cast.
Mariel Matos (Stage Manager)
Mariel is excited to be working on DEAD LAWYERS. She has worked on various productions throughout the NYC area for the past 5 years with shows like: “West Bank, UK” performed at LaMama in Nov/Dec. 07. “Heartbreak” performed at the St. Mark’s theater, “Shadow Pier” performed at the 8th annual midtown theater festival and also worked for a company called EndTimes Productions for their 1st annual one -act theater festival as a PSM. She also worked as a SM in shows like: “Henry Kissinger” performed at “06″ NY fringe festival, “Girl Detective” produced by The Atech theater group, “Duplex” performed at the 8th annual midtown theater festival and “Hey You, Light Man” produced by Firebrand Theory.
